Maryland Striper Fishing Report - May 2, 2010
After being off yesterday, we were back out on Maryland's Chesapeake Bay on another of our Maryland fishing charters. It was a beautiful day out, with a slight southwest breeze, and a moderate flood current. Right out of the gate, we drilled three Chesapeake Bay stripers, but then, it slacked up big time, as it was a couple of hours before we saw any more action. Then, we picked up two striped bass together, a couple of beauties, each of them 38 inches long! Then, we had to wait again, before we finally hooked up on our final fish, the biggest Maryland rockfish of the day! 41 inches long! These are some beautiful fish that these guys caught, and they already can't wait until next year to do it again!
Plenty of open dates for summertime light tackle striper fishing! Give us a call at (410) 397-3743 or visit our website at www.sawyercharters.com!
