Chesapeake Bay Trophy Rockfish Right Around the Corner

It's that time of year again! It's time to get ready for catching these big trophy striped bass in Maryland's Chesapeake Bay. The season starts on Saturday, April 18. The pictures in this article are from last spring to give you an idea of what I'm talking about. We troll for these fish, pulling 20 lines at one time. There were a few times we had several hook-ups at the same time. Recent reports have indicated that the fish are here now, ready for us, and we're ready for them.

This one here was a 45-pounder. We are mostly booked up for this spring run between mid-April and mid-May, but we do have a few dates left if you wanted to get in on the action. We expect to book them up soon, so if you want to get in on the action, get on over to http://www.sawyercharters.com/ or email at sawyercharters@yahoo.com.

Trophy Maryland rockfish in the Chesapeake Bay................ There's nothing else like it!
