Chesapeake Bay Croaker Fishing - August 3, 2009
This evening, we left Hoopers Island at around 7pm for some evening croaker fishing out on the Chesapeake Bay. By 10pm, six people had filled a 160-quart cooler with the biggest croakers we've seen all season! Some of these croakers were 19 inches long! The smallest one we kept was 14 inches! It was slow starting out, but as soon as the sun went down, the fishing took off. We were still pulling them in while we were getting the anchor up! We still expect these croakers to be around for a while, so if you're interested in catching some of these, get on over to www.sawyercharters.com!
