Rockfish, Striped Bass, Stripers on Maryland's Chesapeake Bay - October 23, 2009

Today was another very nice day for fishing on Maryland's Chesapeake Bay! We went out mid-morning for a half-day trip in search of Chesapeake Bay rockfish! Sure enough, it didn't take long for us to find them. Birds were flying around everywhere, showing us where they were! We trolled with six lines, and within just a couple of hours, we had our limit of Maryland striped bass! These stripers ranged between 18 and 26 inches in length, and very healthy too!

We're expecting the bigger stripers to move into Chesapeake Bay waters for the second half of November! We have plenty of openings left for anyone who is looking to go during that time! Give us a call at (410) 397-3743 or visit!
