Catching Rockfish on Maryland's Chesapeake Bay - May 15-16, 2009

Well, after a day off, it was time to get back to work here at Sawyer Charters, doing what we do best, catching these beautiful Maryland rockfish, out on the Chesapeake Bay. Continue reading to see how we did over the past couple of days. The above photo is from today's trip. This is another group that did well aboard the Sawyer, catching Chesapeake Bay rockfish! These fish were all caught by 10:30 am! It was a beautiful Saturday morning, and we were able to take advantage of it. A couple of fish in the above picture were 40-42"! The above photo shows what we did yesterday. Just check out those rockfish! This was one of those days where we had to wait them out a bit, but when they decided to bite, they tried to eat the bottom off the boat! Four of those fish were caught within the last hour! These guys had a great time, and we hope that we'll be seeing them again!
