Today was another wonderful day of fishing action on Maryland's Chesapeake Bay! This crew left Hoopers Island at around 6:30 this morning in search of some Maryland rockfish, and they did not go home disappointed! Within the first hour of trolling, we landed three big Chesapeake Bay stripers, the biggest of which was 38 inches! Then, we had a dry spell for a little while until we saw some birds working a bit north of us. Within an hour of seeing those birds, we had our limit of Chesapeake Bay Maryland striped bass! We trolled through those piles of birds, and caught quite a few rockfish between 18 and 26 inches, along with a couple of the larger ones.
