Fishing For Chesapeake Bay Striped Bass In August
August 4, 2012
Today, we had a bachelor party aboard the Sawyer. As you can see, we began August in the same way that we ended July. We did that with a full legal limit of Chesapeake Bay rockfish! These fish ranged between 18 and 24 inches in length.
These fish were caught with live bait and light tackle. As soon as we detected some fish on our sonar, we started throwing live spot fish overboard. Not long after that, we started getting hook-ups.
This crew of eleven limited out on Maryland striped bass in no time. This was the first time that these fine folks came to see us, and we hope to see them again!
Thank you very much guys!
We still have plenty of open dates for August and beyond. So, if you're even thinking about booking one of these action-packed Chesapeake Bay fishing charters, then you need to give us a call at (410) 397-3743, or shoot us an email at sawyercharters@yahoo.com!
