Fishing for Maryland Rockfish on the Chesapeake Bay - June 15-16, 2009

The picture above for Monday, June 15 shows that once again, we caught our limit of Maryland striped bass on the Chesapeake Bay. We went fishing for the bait first, and then out to the Bay to catch these beauties. Within two hours, we had our legal limit! These guys were really happy and we hope to see them again.

The picture above shows what we did today. This crew today went out with us at about 6am this morning. We caught our spot fish to be used for bait, and then we went out to the Chesapeake Bay and blasted those striped bass, rockfish, or whatever you want to call 'em! We got out to the Bay at just the right time, when the current was moderating, and those stripers were hungry. They're addicted to them little spot! The picture above says it all! We've got a good feeling we'll be seeing these guys again soon.

If you want to enjoy the best in Chesapeake Bay fishing that Maryland has to offer, you better get on the boat now! Go to http://www.sawyercharters.com/ or call us at (410) 397-3743!
