Fishing for Stripers on Maryland's Chesapeake Bay - June 22, 2009

Today was another awesome day of fishing on Maryland's Chesapeake Bay! What you see in the picture above are Maryland striped bass caught on the Chesapeake Bay, using live bait and light tackle! These Chesapeake Bay rockfish range anywhere from 20 to 30 inches in length! We started out fishing for the bait, which is a lot of fun in itself. As soon as we caught enough bait, we went out to the fishing grounds, and the fish were out of the water. We caught our limit of stripers in less than an hour! After that, we went down the Chesapeake Bay for some croaker fishing. They then proceeded to catch a mess of croakers.
