Chesapeake Bay Fishing Report - June 11-12, 2009

The fishing for Maryland striped bass on the Chesapeake Bay is still going strong. We are using spot fish for live bait, and then going back in the Honga river for some bottom fishing. We don't have a picture from June 11, because we did get in a little late, but it suffices to say that we caught our limit of rockfish, ranging anywhere between 18 and 32 inches in length.

The picture above was from another successful trip on Maryland's Chesapeake Bay, live-lining for Maryland rockfish. This was from June 12. It was a beautiful day out, with the bay as smooth as a sheet of glass. These guys had their limit of stripers within two hours!
