Chesapeake Bay Fishing Report - August 14, 2009

This evening, we left Hoopers Island with a group of four fishermen in search of croakers on the Chesapeake Bay. As soon as the sun went down, the croakers started biting right away. Two hours later, they had their legal limit of 100 croakers! These croakers are not quite the grade we were catching over the past couple of weeks, but still good for the pan! The average croaker was 13-14 inches in length.

We expect these croakers to be around for at least a couple of more weeks. To get your shot at catching these fun fish, get on over to www.sawyercharters.com!
