Chesapeake Bay Fishing for Striped Bass - May 23, 2009

Look at what these happy customers came away with, fishing on the Chesapeake Bay with Sawyer Charters! These are all Maryland striped bass, caught on the Chesapeake Bay, ranging between 18 and 30 inches in length! We were trolling for them, and it was pretty slow at the beginning, with rough seas produced by a south wind and a hard-running flood current. But, when the current slacked up, the stripers started breaking everywhere! We went over two big piles of rockfish, and at one point, had two fish on every line! These guys were all very happy, and we look forward to seeing them again.
We plan to be fishing for these Chesapeake Bay Stripers right on through October, then it's on to the big ones again. To set up your big day with Sawyer Charters, get on over to http://www.sawyercharters.com/!
