Live-lining is back at Sawyer Charters! For the first time this season, we caught our limit of Maryland Chesapeake Bay stripers using live bait! We went out in the afternoon, got to our fishing spot, caught three rockfish within the first hour, but it dried up with a hard-running ebb tide. We waited it out, and when the tide slacked up, these striped bass bit like mad! We caught sixteen within one hour! We had our legal limit, and the guys pictured above went home happy!

Maryland Rockfish on the Chesapeake Bay - May 30, 2009
